Young Living Oils

It's been awhile since I last blogged - almost two years have gone by - YIKES!

Lately I have embraced the world of Essential Oils and thought keeping things in my blog would be a good way for me to share testimonies and to keep recipes and things I've tried filed away!  I have been thinking about ordering a Starter Kit for a few months and hearing from others about what oils can do for you I was pretty convinced I wanted to get a kit (I just needed to wait for the money!!).  I purchased a kit late February and got it the next week.  It felt like Christmas morning.  I could hardly wait to open the box, get the diffuser out and start using oils.  The kids have been using Peace and Calm for the past few weeks at bed time (either diffused in their room or rubbed on their feet).  They are sleeping great and sleeping in a little later than normal - yay for me!!!  I have officially used up all my lemon oil (drink it in my water and diffuse it in the home).  I have been brushing my teeth with Thieves every night and my teeth are getting whiter!  I have also used Thieves in tea (one day I could feel I was getting sick and drank some and then shot some down my throat) and the next day was good as new.  I have been using Frankincense on my skin tags for just over a week and they are now almost all gone as well as Makayla has a planters wart that is almost completely gone as well.  Makayla and I can drive each other mad and she can often put me in a bad mood with her whining.  So the last week we started rubbing Valor on our wrists before going to school/work and the days have gone well!  I am loving my oils!!

With that being said, I thought since I love them so much why wouldn't I want others to feel the oily love?  So I decided to sign up to become a distributor.  So, if you are looking for oily advice, or think you might be interested in the AMAZING starter kit, let me know and I'd love to chat with you and share ways that these oils can enhance your life!!!  I'm talking, no more Tylenol, no more pain meds, eczema creams that you can make yourself with an oil or two and coconut oil, weight loss, mood enhancers, immune boosters and overall generally good health!!!  Let's take out the chemicals from our lives and start ingesting things that are pure and that come right from the SEED to the SEAL!

Crock pot fail

So Week 15 - I didn't do anything in the crock pot and then Week 16 and 17 I made two dishes I'd already done before (ribs and tortellini soup!)... sigh.  Life is getting pretty busy now too, so I'm going to need some other things to try and hope my kids like!

On a side note, I have met my target already for Relay for Life.  I'm super pumped about that, but I'm not going to finish!  I know I have awesome family and friends out there who will donate to a good cause, so I'll keep on hounding them and hope that our school team can raise loads of money for cancer research!!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  The sun is shining here and the forecast for the next few days is in the high teens!!!  Hello Spring!

Lucky Me

I am so glad that I get to be a SAHM.  I think that is the first time that I've called myself that here on this blog.  It feels weird.  I feel that society has such different opinions on this.  Part of me feels that it's great to be home with the kids while they are young.  I get to spend time with them and pour my life into them.  On the other hand it feels like I should be out "working", making my own money to do my own thing.  I feel so lucky to spend time with my kids.  I've been able to take Makayla to swimming lessons and this past week we got to go to Parent and Tot Soccer!  I get to take Taylor to swimming this summer too!  I babysat a little boy this week who is the same age as Makayla and he has both of his parents working.  I know that they work to provide for their family - I totally get that.  I just felt a little sad that he doesn't get to do these things with his mom.  I am so thankful that Phil has a job that can pay our bills.  I am thankful that the government paid for me to spend the last year at home with my kids!  I will treasure the time I have with them because I know that soon Makayla will be in school and that then will be my cue to go back to work!

Thanks Phil for allowing me this opportunity to be with our kids!  I love you!

Ugh

I really haven't had the urge or anything really exciting to blog about lately.  Sorry for the lack of posts for those of you that actually check things out here.  I have read a few blogs lately of some university students who are feeling blah.  It's March... the term is only a month and a half from being done.  I'm not in school and haven't been for awhile, but I think I'm feeling the March blah.  That time of the year when you really aren't motivated to do much, you just want the snow to be gone, to put the sweaters away and pull out the spring/summer wardrobe and play outside.  My kids are feeling it, I'm feeling it and I just want winter to be over!  But as I check out the forecast we are to have snow for most of the week and the mountains around here just don't seem to be melting at all.  I guess that's good for the skiers/snowboarders out there.  I'm not sure how to get out of this funk and feel better.  Maybe on a nice day I should open the windows and do some spring cleaning.  Any suggestions???

The kids have also been fighting off a cold - runny noses, congestion and the odd cough.  That means rough nights and cranky days.  Taylor was starting to finally sleep well and for the past week has gone into a night time funk.  He (and I) have been up 4-6 times a night.  That's almost worse than when he was a newborn.  It's exhausting.  He also thinks that 7am is a good time to be up for the day - I disagree. I function the best after 9am!!!  I would even settle for 8, but 7 just doesn't work well for me.  I hope that he feels better soon and starts to sleep better at night so that I can sleep better at night and thus have a better day!  I actually had to take a nap the other day because I had been up 6 times in the night with him.  And it's not like he's having bad dreams, he wakes up hungry and wants to eat.  Who needs to eat ever 2 hours at 10 months old?  And it's not like a little snack, it's like full out meals.  You'd think the poor kid was starving and hadn't eaten in days.  I'm not too sure what's going on with him, but I hope it changes - SOON!

I have loads of pictures on my camera to upload and get up on here.  So have some patience and I will get you some updated photos cause I know most of you just check here for photos of the kids!!!

Hope you're all having a wonderful week.  Happy Wednesday!

Exercise - good for the body, good for the soul

So it's been about 2 years since I have been in the gym.  I worked out all the time when pregnant with Makayla and did a yoga class or two a week.  It was great.  But then after she came along there was less time to do that.  I did manage to go once and awhile when Phil was home but then he left and it was really useless, plus taking her to the gym with me I had to pay for them to watch her and I was never happy with the job they did.  So, I just kinda gave up on the whole work out thing.  But seeing as how Phil is around and Taylor is getting older and I really need to lose that last little bit of muffin top, I thought I'd start working out again.

I discovered a ladies only gym here in town (kind of like a Curves idea).  So I thought, "what the heck, let's just do it".  So I signed up, paid the member fee and in one month went twice.  So I cancelled.  The hours they were open was just not working for me and my schedule.  So I went online to see what I could find to do at home.  I came across the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.  It's been amazing.  It starts off slow and you work your way up, level by level.  It's only 20 minutes and everyone has 20 minutes a day to do it!

I have noticed a change not only in how I feel but my attitude has changed as well.  I find that I'm not blah tired by the end of the day, just tired cause it's the end of the day!  I find that I am feeling more alive and just better about myself.  I've noticed my muffin top is shrinking.  I find that I'm not as short with my kids and am an all around nicer person.  It's amazing that just a little exercise can make one feel so great.

I'm thinking about trying this out next!

Exercise - good for the body but also good for the soul!!!

WWMD?

At 4am as I tumbled out of bed to respond to Taylor's crying I started to think, "What Would Mary Do?"  Every night I am up with that boy at least once to change his diaper and feed him.  Some times I get so frustrated because all I want to do is sleep!  And then I begin to think, what would it have been like for Mary to raise the son of God?  Did she get frustrated with Jesus at 4am when he was crying?  Did she lose her temper with him when she felt pushed to the edge?  Did she know that she had the biggest responsibility in the world to raise God's one and only son?

To be honest I don't know how she did it or how she felt.  I really wish that the Bible gave us more info, cause some days I could really use some help with being a parent!  Some days I don't know how I'm going to make it through the day (maybe that's why I've begun to drink coffee!).  How did Mary do it?  We know that Jesus had other brothers and sisters - did they get along?  Did they bug each other?  Did Jesus ever have a tantrum?  We know he was perfect and without sin, does that mean he argued with his mom or yelled or cried?  I have so many questions and so little answers!  Do any of you who read this have any answers?  I think these will be some of the questions that I ask when I get to heaven!

I guess with Christmas here I started thinking about Mary and the fact that all we really know is that she treasured all these things in her heart.  I really need to learn to treasure more things - especially the challenging.  It's easy to treasure the good things, but some days are just not good!  I think that may be something I will work on in the new year is finding more and more good things in my day, they're probably there, I just have to look!!!!

I'll leave you with those thoughts.  Have a wonderful Christmas and a joyful New Year!!!

Lack of blogging as of late

As I sit at my computer and check others blogs and facebook status' I have nothing to say, about anything.  So, I'll take a few minutes to ramble some things to catch everyone up to speed.

We've been in Grande Cache for a month and a half now.  The weather here today is beautiful (it's gotta be double digits at least).  There is a warm wind and I'm told Chinooks come through here often so the winters are actually pretty mild.  There is snow in the mountains and it's beautiful to look at.  I love that even though it may snow here once and awhile, it usually melts up within the next day or two.  Let's see how the rest of the winter goes!  Makayla and I have been going to swimming lessons since October and she is getting braver and better with the whole swimming thing.  She likes to "play" in the water, she just doesn't like to dunk her face or get her hair wet.  We'll have to solve this problem sooner than later.  A few weeks ago I dunked her pretty good and she proceeded to cry for the next 15 minutes of the lesson - good times!  We are getting to know people and are getting involved in the church here.  I attend a Bible study group every Thursday morning and I am enjoying the conversations and time out of the house.  Phil is enjoying his job and picking up some overtime right now so that he can buy a truck.  I guess out here EVERYONE has a truck!  Phil went hunting this week too... how red neck can you be?  An Asian hunting... hahahaha... I wonder if he'll put a gun rack in the back of his truck?

Taylor turns 6 months next week.  Can you believe it?  Where has the time gone?  He is rolling around, although not rolling completely over.  He loves the jolly jumper and his saucer.  He is a pretty happy baby except for when people aren't paying attention to him or it's time to go to bed.  I'm slowly learning his baby language and we're getting there!  He's been eating solids for a little while now and is doing pretty good.  He's a big boy - I'm pretty sure he weighs more than Makayla now!

I'm getting tired of Makayla's toddler tantrums and whining.  She knows how to push my buttons and I often think she has selective hearing!  I'm pretty sure many kids have selective hearing!  When she's (not annoying me) playing and drawing she's a happy kid!  It's fun to see her and Taylor start to interact.  Taylor loves Makayla and the two of them have some pretty good laugh fests!  I enjoy those moments, cause I know that fighting is just around the corner!  Makayla's been super great with Taylor and she brings him toys and wants to share with him.  I like that too.  I am trying to enjoy those good moments and forget the bad/ugly ones!

Next week the kids and I are off to my cousins wedding in Naniamo.  We are leaving EARLY (like 7am flight early - we usually don't get out of bed around here till after 8 - it's gonna be a rough one!) to fly to Abbotsford where my mom and dad are going to pick us up.  We will get on the ferry and head over to the Island.  We'll chill with family on Friday and then the wedding is on Saturday.  Sunday we pack up and head back to Surrey where we'll stay with my aunt.  Then we leave early Monday morning to head back.  Phil's working all weekend, so it'll be just me and the kiddos.  I'm excited and terrified all at the same time.  I've flown with Makayla twice and she did great both times.  Now to fly with her and Taylor should prove to be interesting.  We will fly from Grande Prairie to Edmonton and then from there to Abbotsford and the same thing on the way back.  I tried to plan it so we wouldn't have huge layovers.  The worst thing is entertaining kids in an airport.  The last time I flew with Makayla our flight out of Vancouver was delayed and it made for a missed nap and a grumpy little girl (that'd be me!!).  Our layovers are an hour each time.  So by the time we're the last ones off and the first ones back on, we'll be doing great!   I'll update you on the trip when we get back and I'll post pictures too!

I feel like all I do is ramble some days.  I've sent a few emails in the past week and they seem so disjointed and random.  Between making meals, being interrupted by kids and life, I feel like all I do is ramble and nothing makes sense.  My brain is in a fog these days.  So, I think that's why I haven't blogged in awhile.  I didn't want you have to read the ramblings, but here they are anyways!

I'm going to wrap this up and trust that everyone is doing well.  Thanks for checking in on the Yee's!

This is going to be weird

Well, Phil will be home soon, and that means that the kids and I will no longer be alone!  This weekend we're loading up the moving truck and leaving Edmonton for Grande Cache!  I'm excited to get there (especially before the snow!) and see our new place, meet some new people and see how we can keep ourselves busy there!  I'm sad to be leaving our friends and the church that we have come to love.  But we know that there are great things ahead!

The weird things is going to be living with Phil again!!  I've gotten used to doing things on my own, by myself so this is going to be weird, but it should also be wonderful!

8 years and counting

This Tuesday Phil and I celebrated 8 years of wedded bliss.  It has been an amazing journey these past 8 years.  We have lived in Ontario and Alberta.  In Alberta we have lived in three different cities (soon to be 4) and we have lived in 4 different homes (soon to be 5!).  We had fish and guinea pigs in Ontario and we now have two cats, a dog and 2 beautiful children!  What an adventure.  I can't wait to see what is in store for our future.  We know that we are taking a big step with this new move and having children now as part of our lives is so rewarding!

Here's a few pictures from our special day!

My foot

Back in March I posted this blog about my foot.  As of the beginning of this month it still was hurting.  I had an appointment with a orthotics company.  The guy checked out my foot and said he didn't know what the problem was.  He said it looks like it is the beginning of arthritis (which I figured as I tried to self diagnose myself via the Internet - reliable I know!).  He said there wasn't much that could be done.   He could make me a little orthotic (about $300) or I could go and buy a new pair of Birkenstock (my last pair was from my backpacking trip to Europe about 11 years ago!  I guess I need a new pair).  So that's what I did.  I went and bought a new pair.  He then said if things didn't get better in six weeks to go to my doctor and have them x-ray my foot as they couldn't do it earlier as I was pregnant.

I was talking to my mom on July 1 and she had just returned from a personal renewal conference in the States.  The speaker at the conference has encouraged people to begin praying for healing.  The Bible commands us to pray for healing, for ourselves and for others.  While at the conference my mom and her friend were prayed for and both of them experienced heeling's from illnesses that had plagued their bodies for years.  So, starting on July 1 I started praying for my foot.  I placed my hand on the sore spots and began praying.  A few days later the little bump that was on the joint of my big toe had reduced it's size and the pain was very minimal.  I have been praying every day since July 1 and can now walk without pain and can wear shoes that I wasn't able to wear previously.

I wanted to share this with you my fellow readers and bloggers because I think that the God who did many miracles back in the day still does miracles today - all we have to do is have faith and believe.  I'll admit, the pain isn't completely gone, but I'm trusting that God has a plan.  Maybe there is more healing that will come in the future, maybe this is as far a the healing goes.  Whatever it may be I am so happy that I can walk without pain and wear my shoes again!  I encourage you, if you need healing, pray and have others pray for you - It Works!

Last 5-10 pounds

Now that Taylor is 7 weeks old and I've had my doctors appointment and everything looks good, they said that I can start to exercise.  I think, that's great, but when am I going to have time to exercise?  I can't do very much during the day (I guess chasing around a 2 year old is some exercise, but not the get out of the house and run till you sweat and can hardly breathe).  At night I can't leave the house when the kids are sleeping without any supervision.  So getting to a gym is out of the question.  We try to go for walks in the day, bu the weather lately has not be accomodating.  In the morning it's either pretty cool, windy or rainy.  Then in the afternoon it's either too hot, windy or rainy.  I have not been too happy with the weather.  The other day I figured I need to get out of the house so we went for a walk but it was so windy it wasn't that much fun.

I've got about 5 lbs left that I'd love to lose, if I could lose 7 that'd be sweet!  The other problem I face is lack of self control.  Since there is no one around to monitor my eating it's totally and completely up to me what I eat.  In the summer I typically don't eat a lot, especially if it's hot.  But since I'm nursing Taylor I figure I do need to eat some thing.  So after dinner when Makayla goes to bed, all I want to eat is sweet things.  It's not good.  Eating cookies and ice cream and caramel covered popcorn at 9/10 at night does not help to get rid of this spare tire.  In my head I know what needs to be done, but I just can't bring myself to do it.  I have been doing some little exercises when I can score a few minutes when the kids are sleeping or playing and Makayla has enjoyed having dance times, so we'll put on a groovy cd and dance around the house - good times!

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to lose these last few pounds and rid myself of this spare tire?  Because even though I'm almost at pre-pregnancy weight, my "normal" clothes still aren't fitting right.  ARG!  I can't wear maternity clothes forever and I refuse to buy new clothes (cause who has the $$?).  I guess I need to start with not eating junk at night, right?  I'll give that a go and see what happens!

***** I realize that I shouldn't complain too much as they do say it can take up to a year to get back to "normal", but I see this as the last little hurdle that I just can't get around.

To nap or not to nap

Makayla is a religious napper.  I am so thankful for that.  She usually naps for about two hours depending on what we have been doing that morning.  She is also a great night sleeper as well - has been since she was about two months old.  I love my sleep too, and having a newborn kinda puts a kink in my sleeping patterns, although I am sleeping better now than in the last few months of my pregnancy.  Taylor has been pretty consistent in the sleep department since coming home.  This last week however I believe he was going through a growth spurt.  His afternoon nap time has been pretty short as he has been wanting to eat in the day like every hour.  But today, he had a glorious 3 hour afternoon nap!  That meant that for the first time in the last week I got a nap too (longer than 20 minutes).  It seemed like I would get him down and then I would lay down and then Makayla would be awake.  Sigh, I have been super tired.  With Phil being out of town that leaves me to do it all.  I was averaging a total of 5-6 hours at night and then a 20 minute nap in the afternoon.  Boy, the days can seem long.  Last night we had a nice couple of long stretches of sleep and a nice long nap this afternoon and I'm feeling pretty good.  Although it took me about 3 days to get my kitchen cleaned up and then in a matter of making dinner it got all messy again!  Oh well.  As mentioned in my last post, life is busy, but nothing that we can't handle!

A whole new kind of busy!

This parenting thing is busy!  It's a whole new kind of busy.  I was busy in life before with a job, a house, a husband and two cats.  Then Makayla came along and I took care of her and the previous mentioned items.  It was more busy then and a little more stressful as I tried to juggle everything.  Then Taylor came and I stopped working to be able to focus and take care of all of the above mentioned things.  Even though things are busy, I don't really feel a lot of stress or pressure like I did when I had a job outside of the house. I am really enjoying this mom thing.

To be honest I wasn't sure how I was going to do leaving a job that I love and people that I deeply care about.  I miss the people but I don't miss the job!  I am enjoying spending time with my kids, taking them to the park, dancing around the living room, having special cuddle times with kisses hugs and just watching them grow every day.  Life is busy but nothing that we can't handle.

For instance, on Sunday we met some church friends at the park.  Makayla had a great time with so many people to play with!  As we were leaving the park I looked at the van and noticed that the back tire looked a little flat.  I asked my friend if it looked flat to her and she agreed.  We called a few of the guys who were still hanging around to come and have a look.  They agreed that it was flat and set to getting the spare and changing it up for me.  It took awhile as the van is new to me and I had no idea where anything was.  We eventually found all the parts and with lots of help we got the tire changed and we were on our way!  I am so thankful for friends who were around to help not only change the tire, but entertain my children as well!  Had this happened during the week without these handy people around I'm not sure I would have known what to do - especially since Phil is gone.  I really felt that God was taking care of me at that moment.  I wasn't stressed out or panicking like I normally would do.

And then today I took the kids out for a walk.  We usually go through the garage as that's where the stroller is.  I happened to grab my keys on the way out so that we could get the mail - I don't usually bring keys as it's one more thing to lose.  We went for our walk and came home.  I punched the code into the garage door thing and the garage wouldn't open.  I tried a few more times and it still wouldn't open.  I took a moment, said a prayer asking God what we were going to do as I had nothing, it was lunch and we had no way to get into the house.  I thought a moment and realized I had grabbed the mail key and on that same ring was a key to the house!  Once again God was looking out for us!  I am just so thankful that everything has been working out so well!

So, yes, life is busy, but nothing that we can't handle!!!

Have a New Kid By Friday

I'm not sure how many of you have heard of Kevin Leman's book, Have a New Kid By Friday.  Makayla is a little young, but nonetheless she has hit that age of wanting her own way and being a little demanding with a few tantrums thrown on top.  I have not been happy with her behaviour and the book was on sale at the Christian bookstore the other day, so I picked it up and read it.  He has a few things you work through in the week in terms of your kid and you as the parent that you work through.  At the end of the week you begin to put the steps into play.  I was feeling like a total failure at the beginning because I was seeing no results, I was feeling overwhelmed and I just didn't know what to do.

Then last week I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that we hadn't had any tantrums in over a week and her behaviour was much better than in the weeks before.  I'm not sure I agree with everything in his book, but the steps that he gives you to follow are amazing and they are simple, yet challenging.  I think the hardest part was taking a look at myself and realizing that as the parent I need to know what I want my child(ren) to look like and that my attitude and behaviour greatly affects how my child(ren) will respond to me.  Getting upset right away is only going to fuel her bad behaviour.  If I take a few seconds to calm myself, asses the situation and then proceed accordingly we have a much happier time together.

Things now with the new baby have been a little challenging as Makayla is trying to find her place again.  Going from single child to having some competition, you can see that she is doing things to get us to notice her.  I am fully aware of what is going on, it's just super hard when you are sleep deprived and busy with a growing family.  I do what I can to make sure that I pay attention to her, and I am so thankful to have Phil and my mom here to help and give her some attention.  When they leave in a few weeks, things are sure going to get interesting!  I'll be sure to keep you posted!

If you are a parent I highly encourage you to pick up this book and read it.  If you've read it I'd be curious to know what you thought about it!  It's never too early and it's never too late!

Well...

At 4 am this morning I had a great idea of something to blog about.  Now that I have a few minutes to sit down and write, I can't remember what I wanted to write about!

On a side note, my friend Nathan raises a good point.  Recently I too have found out that there are many of you who come by here often and read and never leave me a note.  I would love to know who is stopping by so that if you have a blog I too may be able to come and take a look at what's going on in your life.  It's not fair that you know what's happening in mine, if I can't know what's happening in yours!  So, if you'd be so kind as to let me know who you are I'd love to come by and say hi to you too!

There is no baby yet, although said baby is due to arrive in the next week and a half.  Phil will be coming home tomorrow afternoon for about three weeks and my mom arrives on Saturday afternoon.  So, as long as this baby can stay inside for a few more days, everything should run a - ok!  Thanks to those who continue to check up on me through email and phone calls, I really appreciate it!

I hope you are having wonderful weather like we are.  Take some time to enjoy the sunshine!

No news...

That's about all I have for today.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the Mom's out there!

Ready, but not

So this baby is due in 3 weeks.  I thought that I would feel more confident the second time around, like I could totally handle it no matter what!  Well, I think I am just as nervous and anxious as I was the first time around.  And they say that you forget everything after you have your first and it's totally true.  I've had a few doctor's appointments where I have had to ask dumb questions (at least I thought they were dumb because I should have remembered from the last time around).  You really do truly forget what happened the first time around.

Part of the reason for not feeling ready is the fact that Phil is out of town until May 14 and my mom doesn't get here until May 15.  Another part is that I know that life is going to completely change.  It was one thing to have Makayla, that was only one!  Now I have her to take care of as well as another one that guaranteed will not be sleeping more than 2-3 hours at a time.  I could sleep the day away when I had Makayla, but now I won't be able to do that.  The first few weeks may be ok because Phil will be here and my mom and then my dad will be here.  But after that I'm on my own.  Within the next few weeks there may not be too many posts coming from here!  When I have the chance I will get back into the swing of things.

With Phil commuting every week, life is going to be different for all of us.  I am so glad that I don't have to think about work or returning to work or anything like that.  I can just focus on the kids and staying sane!  I know that there are many great friends around who I'm sure will be stopping by to say hi and to see the new baby.  As long as I don't think about all the changes and what life is going to be like I feel ok.  Once I start to think about the future - YIKES, my head goes a little crazy!  So now that I have spilled it all on the Internet I feel GREAT!

So, here's to waiting out the next few weeks and hoping that this little one waits until the family is here!!!

All Done

It's now official - I am done my time at North Edmonton Alliance Church. Last Sunday the church had a farewell party for our family. I was really touched to see all the love and time that was spent to put it together. I was so thankful and a little overwhelmed. You just never know how you impact people and to see a couple hundred people come out to thank you is a little overwhelming. There were gifts presented, a scrapbook full of memories from the past four years and a video of different people sending us well wishes and goodbyes. It really touched us to know that we are so loved and appreciated. I spent a few hours at the church this past week just cleaning up some of my filing cabinets and packing up some of my last items. It's all so final now that it's kind of sad.

Although I have a ton of stuff to do here to get ready for the baby and for the company that will be coming to celebrate with us it's a nice distraction from the leaving part of my job. I am sad to have to leave, but we know that we will be around for a few more months if not longer and we will be seeing our friends often (at least I hope!). We know that it's not goodbye but see you later.

I hope that I have some more exciting posts in the future instead of all these dreary ones. But this is my blog, my place to say what I want, when I want. So if you aren't enjoying it just come back and try again!!!

I am so thankful for all who blessed us on that day. It was very special and to know that we are loved and will be missed is truly a blessings. Thanks y'all for a wonderful time! You will always be in our hearts!

In Response

Thanks to all who have commented or sent me notes. We really appreciate all the prayers from near and afar! It is such a blessing to have all of you in our lives.

We know that at this moment things are not ideal, but we do have a peace from God that things will work out - somehow. We know that on this journey called life, things don't always go the way WEwant them to go, but God always has a plan for us and we just have to be open to Him and what his plans are!

I know that there are many things for us to learn at this point in our journey and we are just encountering a little speed bump along the way!

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers and encouraging words. Friends are truly a gift from God!

Blessings to you all!
