Ugh

I really haven't had the urge or anything really exciting to blog about lately.  Sorry for the lack of posts for those of you that actually check things out here.  I have read a few blogs lately of some university students who are feeling blah.  It's March... the term is only a month and a half from being done.  I'm not in school and haven't been for awhile, but I think I'm feeling the March blah.  That time of the year when you really aren't motivated to do much, you just want the snow to be gone, to put the sweaters away and pull out the spring/summer wardrobe and play outside.  My kids are feeling it, I'm feeling it and I just want winter to be over!  But as I check out the forecast we are to have snow for most of the week and the mountains around here just don't seem to be melting at all.  I guess that's good for the skiers/snowboarders out there.  I'm not sure how to get out of this funk and feel better.  Maybe on a nice day I should open the windows and do some spring cleaning.  Any suggestions???

The kids have also been fighting off a cold - runny noses, congestion and the odd cough.  That means rough nights and cranky days.  Taylor was starting to finally sleep well and for the past week has gone into a night time funk.  He (and I) have been up 4-6 times a night.  That's almost worse than when he was a newborn.  It's exhausting.  He also thinks that 7am is a good time to be up for the day - I disagree. I function the best after 9am!!!  I would even settle for 8, but 7 just doesn't work well for me.  I hope that he feels better soon and starts to sleep better at night so that I can sleep better at night and thus have a better day!  I actually had to take a nap the other day because I had been up 6 times in the night with him.  And it's not like he's having bad dreams, he wakes up hungry and wants to eat.  Who needs to eat ever 2 hours at 10 months old?  And it's not like a little snack, it's like full out meals.  You'd think the poor kid was starving and hadn't eaten in days.  I'm not too sure what's going on with him, but I hope it changes - SOON!

I have loads of pictures on my camera to upload and get up on here.  So have some patience and I will get you some updated photos cause I know most of you just check here for photos of the kids!!!

Hope you're all having a wonderful week.  Happy Wednesday!

Hang in there. Warmth and sunshine HAS TO come sometime.
I'm feeling it too. I think everybody is. I can't imagine putting a baby who won't sleep on top of this March we're having. No wonder you're feeling this way.
But don't worry. Change is inevitable. In the weather and in the baby's sleeping and eating habits.
