For those of you who have been following our journey, I just wanted to quickly update you as to what is or what is not going on!
We finally had the chance this week to get our banking/mortgage things sorted out - boy do I wish I had known some of these things before we decided to buy a house! We also had a chance to meet with a friend who happens to be a realtor. So the news is not all that great, but we are dealing with it and trying to figure out Plan B. Basically we are not able to sell our house - that is the readers digest version, which means we can't technically relocate to Grande Cache at the moment. Since we have only owned our place for three years, we haven't paid off enough of the mortgage to have enough equity to be able to port our mortgage, thus the bank wants us to come us with another 5% down payment (that's not going to happen - unless someone we know wins the lottery and gives us some money!). The other thing is when we purchased our place three years ago the market was super hot and now it is super cold! We would take a huge hit if we could sell our house.
At this point we only have two options.
1. I stay in Edmonton with the kids and Phil commutes on a weekly basis (at least while the roads are good).
2. We look to see what we can rent in Grande Cache and see whether or not we can find renters to come into our place in Edmonton.
Neither of these options are ideal, but we know that God can see the bigger picture and we need to trust Him and wait on His leading as to what we do next. That's just a little update for you at this time. So for now we are staying put in Edmonton as we wait out the remainder of our time till Baby Yee #2 comes home with us! 5 weeks and counting!

Bummer. Hope it all works out, whatever you end up choosing.
I would totally be interested in renting, knowing you've made it SUPER clean and well, it's a nice place! Or maybe CJ would be. And I know some people who would need a place to rent for during the school year so I could pass that on if that is what you guys decide to do. I'll keep praying for this time of transition to be as smooth as possible!
Totally praying for you over here on this end! And a little reminder of what you already know....God is good, all the time!!
Praying over here, too. I trust that all will work out. Relax, my friend... sending love.
