As it is the Easter weekend it feels so weird to not be doing church stuff. For the first time in many years I have the chance to be a participant rather than a pastor. It is weird but kinda neat. Phil and I will be going to Deer Park Alliance on Sunday (Phil has been there a couple of times since he has been here). We will check it out and see if we can get involved in a young adults group and I would like to see what they have in their children's ministry. I figure that I should be involved (you know..., Purpose Driven Life stuff that says we should all be doing something in the body of Christ). I will see where God can use me!
I wish all of you a very Happy Easter as we celebrate together the death and resurrection of Christ... remember it is not all about chocolate bunnies and egg hunts! Have a great day!
