Time

Where does the time go?  I can't believe that it is the end of July.  Feels like we've been so busy and yet we've hardly had any summer.

We are in Edmonton for a friends wedding right now (well actually the wedding was yesterday).  We've been able to see a bunch of friends and reconnect and it feels good (SO good to see you guys again!!!).  I am always so encouraged after seeing people who you have worked with and grown close to see how they've matured and grown!  (*that sentence doesn't make any sense but I don't really want to sit and figure out how to fix it!)

Grande Cache hasn't seen too much summer weather and it's kind of been a bummer.  This past month Taylor started to walk.  It's been pretty exciting but all that attention has made Makayla feel a little left out.  She also became a big girl this past month and now goes to the bathroom - no more diapers!!!  Both kids had swimming lessons for two weeks and they enjoyed it a lot.  I on the other hand was exhausted as I took both of them swimming - Taylor in the morning and Makayla in the afternoon.  I'm glad my kids like the water.

We will be venturing out to the West Coast in a few weeks to see my family.  We are looking forward to a family vacation, but that will conclude our summer.  Can't believe it's almost gone... then hunting seasons starts!!!
I can walk now!!

At the park chillin' on a cool day

Both of them have a little computer
(you can't see Taylor's very well though)

Someone taught the little turkey to make funny faces!!

They are soooo cute!
Sorry you haven't been feeling any heat there. We were beginning to doubt that summer would arrive in Kamloops either, but it finally has, with the forecast predicting temps in the low thirties all this week. I'm sure the hills will finally turn their usual shade of brown anytime. They're still green right now!
