Our family is gearing up for our trip out East to Toronto to visit Phil's side of the family. Before Makayla, travelling was pretty simple. All we had to do was pack what we needed. Then if we got there and needed extra luggage because there was so much to bring back, we would just buy another piece of luggage. Now that we are travelling with a baby we have to bring so much more stuff. When we travelled out to BC this summer, my mom was able to borrow some essential baby products from a lady at church. We don't have it as easy going to Toronto.
So, what does one need to pack for just over a week?
- clothes for three people for approximately 9 days (that means a few extra outfits for Makayla just in case)
- bath supplies and toiletries for 3 people
- play pen
- carseat
- travel chair
- blankets (sleep sack) for Makayla
- camera and video camera
- Phil needs to bring some work stuff
- diaper bag with diapers and essentials for the airplane
- bottles
- formula for when we are out and about
Can anyone tell me what else I am missing?
I also have to tidy my house, clean out my fridge, and get things ready for the cat sitter! Oh yeah, and there is a boat load of laundry that should probably get started sometime soon!
Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work I go!
