Wow, it is truly hard to believe that another year has come and gone. There was so much that happened in 2007 that there really isn't enough time to write it all down. Working, hanging out with friends, visiting with family, buying a new home, etc. There are many things to look forward to in 2008.
Just to recap the holidays for you, we were pretty busy with church things over the Christmas season. We had an English Ministry Christmas Banquet, Jenn helped to prepare and organize the churches Christmas Eve Service, we spent Christmas Day at a friends house (with all their relatives that we did not know), Boxing Day we hit West Ed with some friends early in the morning (Phil was also up at 3 am to meet some friends at Future Shop where we got my early B-day present from him family - a new lap top!), after shopping we went out with some friends for Dim Sum (Chinese food thing), meet up with Jenn's bro and his fiance for dinner at our place and then New Years Eve we spent with some friends. There were also a few potlucks in the mix with friends. The holidays were good although they passed by fast but nonetheless it was a chance to catch up with friends and enjoy the Christmas break. Both of us were able to take a few days off and get some much needed rest (everyone keeps telling us to take the rest now while we can because in a few short months we will not be getting much rest at all!).
On that note, the pregnancy has been going very well, so well in fact that I don't even feel pregnant. I have a very little beer gut which just feels really awkward. People want to touch the beer gut and I don't really want them too... get your own! But from what I hear, there really is no way around it. Next week we will go for the ultra sound and see our new arrival. It is pretty exciting that it is coming up so quickly and we are really excited and anticipating great things in June! I think that's about all that is really important to note at this time!
Hope everyone had a great New Years and we wish you all the best in 2008!
