Ok... so this last week and a bit I have been bombarded with conferences. Last Saturday we had an all day training at church for church leaders. Then Monday and Tuesday I was at a Children's Pastor's Retreat. Then Friday and Saturday I was at Break Forth. Now I am back to work and have one more thing this Friday. The end is in sight. It is hard with so many conference/training/retreats. There was just so much information that I felt as though I didn't have time to process what had just happened. All the events were great and I learned so much. But the inbetween time was days at work trying to get ready for the weekend and doing all the little things. I am looking forward to February where there isn't too much going on. Although I have been asked to go on another retreat near the end of February for 2 1/2 days but I want to say no. I am still thinking it over.
Break Forth this past weekend was amazing. I got to see one of my favorite bands (Casting Crowns - they were AMAZING!) and I also saw a bunch of friends from Bible College and I ran into one of my friends that I grew up with at KCS (that would be Kamloops Christian School). It was great to catch up and see each other after about 9 years. Where does the time go? It feels like just a few days ago I was graduation from high school. The speakers were amazing and I learned so much from my workshops. I attended some workshops on storytelling and scripture memory for kids. It was great. I feel so motivated and inspired, but I need to find some time to process all this info!
In all of this goodness I am trying to figure it out and find how God wants me to use this in the ministry that I am in (if He even wants me to use this in my ministry or in my life!). Wow... life is so crazy sometimes. How is God speaking to you and what is He saying? I think that is a good question to wrestle with and attempt to figure out! Well, that is all for now! Cheers!
